Salary Range: $6,619-$9,929 per month
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Telework available one day per pay period after completion of the 6-month probationary period

Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Manage multiple complex projects related to improvements within KC Water's water, wastewater, stormwater and floodplain management, and KC Water facilities and treatment plants.
- Complete projects using on-call contracts, traditional design-bid-build (DBB), construction manager at risk (CMAR), and design-build (DB) delivery methods.
- Manage projects ranging from single-discipline safety improvements to multidisciplinary efforts, including structural, power, mechanical, process, instrumentation and control, and architectural work at water and wastewater pump stations and treatment plants.
- Focus on the planning, design, execution, monitoring, and completion of assigned projects from initiation through the end of warranty periods.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and assist in the review of projects to improve overall project delivery.

Qualifications
REQUIRES:- 2 years progressively responsible experience as a Registered Engineer.
- Within six (6) months of hire date, must be registered as a Professional Engineer with Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Professional Landscape Architects.
- Must pass a preemployment drug screen.

If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
