This position provides Intake Services to individuals seeking services at the Charleston Center.

HIRING HOURLY: $16.00

Continuation of employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funding from service, program and agency earnings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The position provides coverage on the agency's helpline, providing information and screenings to the general public, calling and seeking information and/or services, including generation of an electronic health record, explanation and obtaining signatures on releases of information and forms allowing treatment to be provided, collection of insurance or other payer information.

• The position provides coverage on the agency's helpline, providing information and screenings to the general public calling and seeking information and/or services.

• The position also provides assistance to patients coming in for Withdrawal Management and Residential Services.

• As this position is often the first contact the general public has with this agency, excellent customer service skills and professional presentation are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma (or GED) supplemented by one (1) year experience in an administrative position. Healthcare experience preferred.

• Must possess excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with the use of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel preferred.

• Bilingual candidate highly desired.
